Hey! It’s nice to meet you. Thanks for stopping by on my very own small bit of the Internet. I hope you stick around long enough to find out a little bit about me and read a few of the words I’ve strung together about things I’ve done, thoughts I’ve had, and stuff I like!
Although named Jonathan at birth, way back when I was born, I have come to accept that eight letters is maybe a little greedy. Combine that with a bit of ‘lazy’ and throw in the fact I have a twin brother known as ‘DJ’, that’s pretty much how I ended up being referred to as ‘J’. Just one letter. The letter J!
I’m a regular kind of guy I guess. I have a cool girlfriend (who makes awesome cookies over at Kooksville) and lots of friends, watch tv, play a bit of sport, have a job, eat chocolate and occasionally play the drums. I’m also quite a big fan of the Internet, which is a little bit vague, I know. I mean, if I said “I love lamp”, you’d get it. Lamps are cool and I love them! The Internet is not a lamp though. It’s a whole heap of things and it’s quite tricky to put my finger on exactly what it is that I love!
I suppose I’d start with HTML. I love HTML. I would like to thank Molly for this. Molly wrote Special Edition Using HTML 4, Sixth Edition back in 1999 and I read it cover to cover whilst getting involved with the website of the company I was working at at the time.
Since then, I’ve drifted in and out of involvement with HTML. Now, I think, I’m trying to drift back in with the new and improved HTML5, but only time will tell where that takes me.
Anyway, there’ll be more about the above and many other things throughout this website over time.
